Barry’s Guild (maybe?)

From Barry Galbraith only album as leader, recorded in ‘58. In the ‘55 Guild catalog it states he plays Guilds exclusively. It certainly has that woody quality that I associate with my X-150 and the Franz pup. So, maybe this was on a Guild. (Hans, do you know if he was still in the Guild stable in ‘58?)

Hard to say, he seemed to get a Byrdland early on as well that he played regularly, too. Love B.G. though. My favorite player. My friend had a lesson with him at his cabin in VT in the late 70s and he recalled Barry playing a Guild then, too.
