Sweet song and nice video. Looks like it was shot on Martha's Vineyard -
as a young man, I used to spend 6 weeks out there in the late spring every year,
working as a sign painter, right before the summer crush.
Beautiful place, had great times there in the mid 1980's - miss it!
Thanks for posting Tom!

James is sitting in an old Mercedea sedan in the video. I used to drive one of those 4 door Mercedes when I was a kid. I can't remember the year, '58-9, with the 'big' engine, a whopping 2.2 liters. A lot of fun, a long time ago.

Could be. Reminded me, though, of Bellingham, Washington....

I believe James Taylor lives in Martha's Vineyard, so that makes sense. It's just such a beautiful song. Always one of my faves....

geoguy - two ferrys I used to take from Woods Hole to the vineyard were the Naushon and the Uncatena - there
were at least a couple of other ferries in use at the time, if memory serves.
The ferry in the video I can't place, there may have been some smaller vessels in use for
overflow traffic...
