Hello archtop players and collectors,

If you'll indulge me, I'd like to inject my opinion on this forum. It doesn't always have to be dry stuff like, "what pickups are on what," etc. !?

Ok, it's a free country in the USA (so far). If there is a market for this autographed guitar, well then all the better for the seller. And after all, it is E-Bay. (I'm not trashing E-Bay - I've bought two Guild archtops from E-Bay) Who knows, it may be worth something in the future. But what a way to muck up such a nice guitar! There, I said it.

Alex
PS. ... Britney Spears?

My humble opinion:
That graffiti is an insult to the craftsman that built that beautiful instrument.
To each his own I guess.......

Well, I hate it.

Seems to me that the proliferation of the bad habit of autographing guitars accelerated with the Hard Rock Cafe phenomenon. This one is way over the line to me. It looks scrawled upon, not autographed. If it was me, I'd be one pi$$ed off Starfire.

I've seen this sort of rubbish on Strats, but on a STARFIRE III? The troglodytes guilty of this bit of vandalism are complete aerosols!
