Cool.

2:30 AM is a wee bit late but, hey, the way things have been going, I'll more than likely be up to pee....

Don't go make a mess now.... take care of your business before staring at the sky, ok?

Oh that caught me good! It was painfully funny.

When you finish, look up from the side of that tree and howl at the moon for all of us, eh?

I shot this last night in a dry run with my recently-repaired scope.

All systems are GO and I'm ready but, typical of the Pacific Northwest, clouds might get in my way. :tranquillity:

Despite technical difficulties stemming mainly from being out of practice with my equipment, aggravated by delaying preparations until the last minute, I was able to get a few shots of the eclipse, albeit at lower magnification than I had originally hoped for. This was taken slightly before mid-eclipse, with minimal post processing done around 3AM. Hope to be better prepared next time...

Unprepared or not, that's a great shot, Don! Yours, too, Joe!

I did not get out of bed for this event - clouds all night, torrential rains and wind today...

Another one is coming on October 8. I'm not sure if NSW will see it or not. Also, North America will have a partial solar eclipse on October 23.

I thought it said "street walkers". Anyway, we had clouds, wind, snow, and no chance of seeing anything. Snow!!! And here we had the bike out a couple of days ago.

Peace
