2020 had some positives - more time to play guitars and look for new additions, sell one or two and really appreciate a good pair of sweat pants or PJs.
Will you share what guitar or (Richard guitars) you aquired in 2020? For me, it was 1997 DV52 Satin finish and it is a wonderful guitar.

It would be helpful to me if, in addition to the guitars you all acquired in 2021, you could also list stocks you bought and sold and at what price, and perhaps the Super Bowl, Stanley Cup, NBA and World Series champions. Many thanks.

Stu is 1 year ahead of anybody else! 😂
Sharp group and I just corrected it-I hope. Just excited to get there. Cannot correct title--not the first mistake I have had to live with.

I acquired two 12 fret mahogany Orpheums, a dread and a OOO. First non-classical 12 frets I've ever had. Gave away a Sovereign, and posted my F40 for consignment at Elderly. All in all, a zero gain year.

It's been a fruitful end of year for me! I got the GX series I've been looking for for so long, A beautiful 1997 Starfire lll, and a 1999 DCE-1 True American that sounds and plays absolutely fantastic! So a bright spot in an otherwise very strange year! And, I must say, spending more time here on LTG has been a source of much enjoyment.

Amazing year - two solid body guitars - and I'm basically acoustic 12-string guy 🥰

- DeArmond M-55 - bought it without seeing for 100€ including stand, carry-bag + functional Peavey amp.
After setting it up it turned out to be my #1 evening guitar - wife can watch tv without me disturbing.

- Guild X-2000 - thanks to Ruedi who found it in Basel and forwarded the info and then enabled it.

- Am I repeating - epeating - peating - eating - ating - ting - ing - ng - g - myself ? ? ? 😅:sneaky:🐾🐾🐾🐾

- oh - I bought el cheapo electro-acoustic @ 20€ delivered, which immediately got butched to demonstrate something I wrote earlier in another thread. Have to get back to it one of these days.

I took care of the title.
As for guitars I've acquired, I have to check dates. Have hardly touched a guitar, but recently picked up a project Starfire from GC.

As a heads up, whenever GC says "neck reset" in the description, they have to be called for a detailed explanation. Sometimes, it had one, sometimes it needs one, and sometimes they are just out to sea and are guessing.

I took a photo of all the Guild’s I purchased this year. Started with the 1986 D-25 I bought so I could retire my aging 72’ Yamaha FG150 I used almost exclusively for 8 years, bought a MKII classical for peanuts with the intention of putting a Baldwin Prismatone pickup remake only to find out the guy ain’t making them anymore and shelling out cash for the original or a NOS one is out of the question, and a 1974 Guild D-35 I bought for relatively cheap on Reverb because it had some cheesy Grateful Dead stickers all over it and the seller claimed it had a headstock repair but as far as I can tell I don’t think it ever had the headstock broken on it. I grab whichever Guild is closest to me but as far as tone I seem to have a slight preference for the D-35. Though I like the D-25 neck better.

I had a pretty good year for Guilds. Oddly enough, I acquired both a 1964 S-50 Jetstar, as well as a 1964 M-20 Economy, both in 2020, and both on trade. Additionally a project going back a few years, was completed in 2020, my Jacobs-restored 1965 F-312 Artist. Also acquired a 1977 CE-100-D-SB from Tom Jacobs, when I picked up my 312; which one of my closest friends in turn purchased from me, upon arrival (the CE-100). I also sold or traded three more of my vintage Guild basses, that all needed new homes. One last Guild I acquired for 2020, a project guitar that will not be completed until 2021, the soonest. looking forward to sharing that one with you all. and of course with a full six days to go in this crazy year, i'm not ruling out another Guild/Guild(s), somehow still finding me, in 2020.

I bought back my 65’ Starfire II and purchased a 72’ JS-II which was never really on my radar. Both are great and getting better by the day.
