I thought I'd post here, since I'm browsing LTG while being on hold with my insurance carrier:

Apparently, Blueshield CA recently changed providers who handle the billing and payment, and due to a goof-up in the transfer of information, my account is now shown as overdue with the last payment made in January. I discovered this today when I logged in to make my payment for the month of June, and discovered my coverage was now inactive. During the phone call, I was informed of the problem that happened with the transition, and after about 20 minutes on the phone, the only solution right now is to wait until their backend team fixes the problem, which could take up to 30 days, and in the meantime, I have no health insurance, though the customer representative assured me that in the event something bad happened and I needed to go to the hospital, I could always call them back and expedite the process of bringing my account back online.

Long story short: If your insurance is with Blueshield CA, check your account status to make sure you still have coverage.
