Digging through boxes of stuff because I have time I found this Khaler trem in its original box with most of what would have been in the box new still there. It appears never to have been used. The underside has two tension springs.

The end of the box has matrix with model number on one axis and B (brass gold), C (crome), K (black krome) and Other for finish on the other axis. None of the listed models, 2200, 2300, and 2400 are ticked. But there is a blank space underneath the model numbers and beside it a row of tick box stars for finish. In almost illegible felt pen someone has written in what looks like it might be "2210" in the blank space and ticked off the star in the C column.

I really do not know how or why or when I got this. Horse trading? Included in a basket of goods offered for something I was selling? A top up on a cash offer?

Anyway a search for a Khaler 2210 does not show much for results. Is this indeed the model number?

Is it a flat mount type? G&L used that type in the mid-1980s and it was model 2320.

I had one that looks like that installed on my black SG that I bought in about in 1985.
