Man, I can't even deal with garter snakes much less water Moccasins and gators. No thanks. I'm good with the bears, bobcats, coyotes and occasional cougar..

I'll take gators every day over bears..... all it takes is you getting a little too close and they dash away.
Try it with a bear.

Yeah, you need to respect the bears but I've come across them several times in my hikes and haven't had a problem. Now, if you run into a mama with her cubs well, that can be problematic. Or, if you intrude on a berry patch of other food source they feel is theirs then it could get tense. I think I just like bears more than gators. but of course, I've never met a gator so.....

Well, yeah but Alaskan Grizzly/Brown Bears are a whole lot more aggressive than typical Black Bears
