Such a game!

And such anguish on the front page of every newspaper today

Great game. The US juniors deserved the win.

Man, without a TV I can only hope it shoes up on UniversalSports.com
I don't have and don't want TV here in Ashcroft - I watched in online from TSN.

Ah, we'll be back. Wait for the Olympics.
And never ever extend sympathy to Don Cherry - it only encourages him.

Olympics!!
Have you got any tickets, John!
Are they hiring ushers or parking attendants or trumpet heralders or anything??!!

Huck and I made a trip to Calgary in the summer after they hosted the winter games. It was awesome to just be in the venues where it had occurred. We attended a concert held at the ski jump. They had built a stage on the landing area and we sat up the hill. It was an excellent amphitheatre, and we got to hear Ian Tyson opening for Ricky Skaggs.

When LA held the summer Olimpics in '84, a lot of people got the heck out of town and rented their homes (at exorbitant, gouging rates) to fanatic visitors. It will be a very memorable time for Vancouveranians. :D Hope you're participating somehow. :)

New Rule - the winner of the tournament has to take Cherry home with them for the year!
