Check this link out...It makes me sad that this could happen. Surely someone could being this back to life.
I saw an old D 18 that was at least this bad and this guy on the Martin Fourm (umgf.com) totally restored it and posted pictures along the way...It was pretty incredable. He named it Frankenstein after he had redone it.

Can someone chip in with what model 12 string this is (year, model, plant made, etc.)
