You'll get no argument from me about Laura Nyro!! I had all her records and Eli and the Thirteenth Confession was an OUTSANDING album!! New York Tendeberry. Christmas and the Beads of Sweat. All of 'em!!

Joan Baez fan here...her voice has deepened and settled quite a bit over the years, still sounds great to this day. During the early pandemic shutdown period, she sang in her kitchen and posted videos on her FB page. Pretty cool.

I'm the same way. I have nothing but respect for her and her place in modern folk music, but I never liked her voice.
