Did Guild ever make a Blues 90 or Bluesbird with maple fretboards? For that matter, did any Guild electrics ever have maple fretboards?
Thanks.......just wonderin'....never seen one.

The Setzer Bluesbirds and other mid-80's solid bodies had maple fretboards as an optional feature, according to the '85 and '86 price lists. It is rare to see one, though.

I don't think any of the reissue 1995-2004 Bluesbirds were made with maple boards, but with Guild you never say never.

GZ..thanks for the info., I was actually hoping that there might be some Bluesbirds out there with a maple fretboard.

FS.....I LOVE a black guitar with the maple fretboard, not a huge fan of that style headstock but in that case I would make an exception.....That guitar is gorgeous!

Me, too! This is my bass. It might start getting more use since a buddy recently invited me to play with his band.

Guild Pilot Tuners. Seymore Duncan Quarter Pound pickups. Just over this last weekend I installed a black bridge cover. It looks pretty cool, IMHO. Know where I can get black strings? :)

Very cool! 8)
And Dane has a lead on those strings..........sweet!
Once upon a time I had a black strat w/maple board, one of the ones I have regretted letting go. I have a white strat w/maple now....but it just aint the same.
