Well, it looks like Amigo made the trip up from Tejas and arrived here today in fine form. And he certainly lives up to Scratch's billing. The guitar (much like the F20 I just sold) is absolutely mint. Not a mark on him to be found, and plays and sounds beautiful. Excellent for the mostly fingerstyle stuff I've been playing lately.
Here's the face shot, showing that lovely Iced Tea Sunburst finish. BTW, the finish on this one rivals the finishes on the New Hartford Guilds we saw on the tour, and the Iced Tea Sunburst really looks better in the flesh.
Here's some shots of the sides and back. What doesn't come out all that well in the pictures is the subtle and beautiful binding on the body, which is hard to see at first, but is really a nice touch, and a most pleasant surprise!
Next up is the front and rear shot of the headstock. I haven't had a Guild with this this style, or with open back tuners
Lastly is some shots of the sound hole, and the sticker. It's my first (and maybe only) Tacoma, and the quality seems just fine, thank you!
I'm very happy, and I think this one's a keeper for sure. Thanks, Scratch!
