It's already over 10 yrs old, but was completely new to me. Last I'd heard of him was around 1990 when his big hit with Extreme was the tune More Than Words. He's a badass w/ a very rhythmic/percussive style. This piece really blew me away. 🤘:cool:🤘 (The thinline guitar sounds damn good as well!)

I guess that's Washburn's version of the Guild Songbird. I admire his skill but hate the piezo quack of the guitar.

I guess that's Washburn's version of the Guild Songbird. I admire his skill but hate the piezo quack of the guitar.
A lot of that sound comes just from the speed picking parts...all side pick scraping. You can hear the string winds in his picking. All the slower picked melodic parts sound pretty damn good to me. Maybe not ideal for a solo piece, but w/ bass and drums, it cuts through just where it should.
