I have always preferred the non cutaway on my acoustics.
It seems more and more companies have made the cutaway the standard now for the acoustics and even more so on the Acoustic/electric.
Just interested where you guys and gals are at on the subject.
:)
Hi. I like cutaways mostly. But there is nothing wrong with my Guild D-55 non-cutaway. I often play gigs where I need several guitars. A cutaway gives me the extended neck access which I need to play the notes written in the chart. So I have both. Honestly, if you don't have a need to play above the 12th fret, why get a cutaway?

Mostly looks I suppose. That's why I got mine. I'll probably never need those extra frets, but I like the look.
