I thought it was about unwanted critters in her garden again.

No, haven't planted anything so far and don't know if I'll plant much until I can get an 8 foot fence hooked to 220 volts, and a few feet of razor wire on top. 😏

Okay, not rea!ly, but weeds, weather, and wildlife have certainly dampened my enthusiasm.

All three here too, a very dry wind we call something other than Mariah. Just not as extreme weather and critters and maybe weeds as you get. Our location produces tumble weeds and rabbits and gophers.

Tumbleweeds! I remember when I saw my first tumbleweed. I was 18. It was a drive from Alabama to Arizona and we had stopped for gas sometime in the night at a station in Texas. It was a bit breezy and there much to my eastern US delight I saw my first tumbleweed - and it was actually tumbling! What a thrill!!!

Fast forward to where after spending a month or more in Phoenix we were heading back to sweet home Alabama where there would be trees, grass, and water - and no tumbleweeds rolling across the scenery or piling up against fences and buildings, and whatever else blocked their paths. I had seen enough tumbleweeds. And prairie dogs.

But I never saw a roadrunner, and that was disappointing.
