Here's a listing for a '64 T-100DP. Pickups appear to be the silver-topped Hagstrom Adjustomatics rather than the Franz PUs as the seller was told, but I could be wrong. I've seen similar chrome-covered PUs on a few T-100s from the 60s and always wondered what they were. Perhaps chrome-clad Dearmonds? Anyone have any experience with these or know how the Hagstrom's stack up to Dearmonds :?:

They're nice single coil pickups, but nowhere near as big sounding as Franzes or DeArmonds to my ear. Rather have these than any kind of humbucker though.

You know, I looked at that auction real hard this morning, even tried to look those pickups up in Hans' book, but I couldn't figure out what they were. Glad somebody knows more about 'em than I do.

Thanks, Hans, they are indeed in the book. And, if I had read the fine print above the photo, I would have seen that,

'Sometimes these units had an all-chrome cover, while others had a slightly different cover with a white top,'

to quote a respected author. In that I didn't read the fine print, all I saw was a pickup that looked different from the one in the photo.
