Hi there,

I'm about to buy an old body+neck from a starfire III as a restoration project. I want to make it as original as possible without breaking the bank (original dynasonics go for 500,- a piece these days). What are descent Dynasonic reissues to fit on this old beauty?

Also, I found a wiring diagram of a SFIII from '66 where they used 200k tone pots and 500k volume pots. This was for the mini buckers though. What pots were originally used with the Dynasonics?

Kind regards,
Michiel

TV Jones T-Armonds are probably the most affordable good ones. And they do white topped ones if you ask them.
500K pots work great for DeArmonds.

Oh, and I wouldn't wire it as per that original Guild diagram btw, it's not great. I like what's referred to as "Gibson 50's wiring" a lot more.
