A JF30 is pretty much a no frill F50 right?

As I gas for an F50, I realize I might not have the finances, but I do recall that a more affordable version for me and better fit financially is a JF30...

right?

thanks

Some of the "frills" are cosmetic, but some are not: the overall dimensions between the two guitars not being identical; the way the braces are treated being different -- both these factors will affect the sound of these guitars, not just the look.

My JF30 sounds and feels nothing like my F50. Both really nice guitars, but definitely different.

Same with the 12-string versions of both models.

1992 catalog sheet: (no JF-65 in that catalog, only the RW JF-55)
