I hope each and every one of you are blessed and have a wonderful Easter. It's a very fresh and renewed time of the year.

I myself don't celebrate Easter, but I agree - this is the time of year to appreciate renewal.

Good luck in your new home! It looks great!

Still full from Passover, but there's always room for Easter dinner. :) Best wishes y'all!

(yeah, we're a little multi-ethni-religi-cultural around casa 'mo)

Up early for Sunrise Service, breakfast at church, then regular morning service, home about 2 & 1/2 hours ago.
Busy morning, but that should be it for today; doing laundry now.

Happy Easter to all, and to all a good day!

:) I was just telling Don that we got up early and made a visit to a small country church this morning. I think it was a test as it would have been easy to just say....forget it. 40 mph winds and severe thunderstorm warnings, we made the 30 mile trek and really enjoyed our first visit arriving 10 minutes early. Well worth the travel. We're pretty excited about it.

Yes Jerry, we have them.

Solid chocalate, and others filled with all sorts of low-fat concoctions - coconut, nuts, peanut butter, more chocolate etc, etc, etc.

Your pink panther ate the NZ E-bunny in 2006, Coastie. Vigilant you were not. And now, no chocolate for you. :)

Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter. As bikerdoc said, it was a gorgeous no-April-showers day in Ohio.

Sickliest, stickiest one we have is 'Cadbury's Cream Egg' too sweet for my tastes :!:

Just read your other post about that; sounds like a good trip. I play guitar for our regular services, & sing a special usually every other week. Instead, for our regular service, this time 4 of our ladies sang with me(singing tenor) 2 hymns acapella. It went well. It was foggy for Sunrise Service, though.

Not anymore, Jerry. I found them all yesterday.

It was the first year that every egg hidden was discovered by the extended family kids. The "Bunny" and helpers hid 13 dozen eggs, plus 1, throughout the back yard of the grandparents. Invariably the count is short at the end of the hunt and the bunny's helpers cannot remember where the missing ones might be. They usually are found some time in the hottest part of summer. This year the kids have gotten better at searching, I think! Grandpa was very happy.

He is risen , indeed.

When my sons were small I laid an Easter Egg hunt every year. This year my eldest went to work in Korea but laid a really excellent treasure trail with cryptic clues which we didn't find out about until he was there. I worked out the last one about a week back but we held off looking until Easter Sunday - and yup - it was Easter Eggs :D
