Hello kydog,

You got yourself a nice Christmas present!
I guess you meant to write # AD420008, which will make it a model from 1994; probably has a 1993 date stamp on the neck block. And yes, the Grover mini tuners were standard.

Happy Holidays!

your right Hans just a little excited :D
You also aged it 100 years in your sig. I've got one coming in a week or so, your excitement is understandable. Enjoy the new guitar. :)

Kydog,
Did you find it locally?
Good to see another Northern Utah member here.

I would like to play some Mahogany Guilds sometime.
I'm a Rosewood kind of guy but most mahogany guitars that I have played have been cheep imports, so it's not a fair comparison.

I have only played 2 nice Mahogany guitars before.
One is my wife's Taylor 410 and the other was a Martin D-18.

Believe it or not, I've never player or even seen a D-25 Guild.

I just sold a wonderful Guild JF-30-12 because the neck was too wide for me to play these days.

I'm thinking about a Yamaha LL-16-12 with 1 3/4" neck.
Wish there was one close to me that I could play.
These are Rosewood Dred shaped 12 strings with all solid wood construction.

I have been without a 12 string now for only 1 month and I'm already really missing having one.

I hope that you will enjoy yours.

kydog,

It looks like the twin of mine. Tune it down a couple of steps and you'll be in 12-string heaven. I've never heard a better 12, but I'm listening.
Good score from "old Saint Nick."

Enjoy,
Joe

I'm looking at the arched back on that sweetie and thinking it must be a cannon!
Merry Christmas, kydog! We're looking forward to hearing a recording or two!
