Twas a noisy place but I felt pretty good about the sound of my DV 62 after playing this one for a bit.

Did you like it at all Jeff?

It was a cool old guitar, heck yeah I liked it. I was just pretty sure it would simply be a dust collector & for once listened to myself.

What do I know, might have felt differently if it had a pickup.

Someone liked it enough to buy it in the first hour of the show.

Who said it would be the only one.

Mebbe my issue is my first guitar was a Sears & Roebuck Silvertone of a generally similar design. It was horrible & it took 40 years for me to overcome the inital trauma. Last time I saw one like it someone had painted it with white wall paint & was using it for a fireplace decoration. Seemed fitting.

Surely someone with a qualified opinion will show up & give you a hand.

I like my A-50 just fine. When playing full chords, it does sound a little "tinny" compared to my D-64 acoustic, but not "bad" in any way. When playing single note solos, etc. it sounds more like an electric, which is very cool. I like the look of it, and the size - nice thin body... It is in my family room on a stand, it takes up very little room, and is quite a conversation piece. I probably play it at least as much if not more than my other Guilds.

I recommend them, especially if you are into playing any jazz!
