I've always considered the Westerly and to some extent, the Corona JF-30's/JF-30 12s, some of the best bargains in a Maple Jumbo. You get all the great tone for a fraction of the price of their flashier, look at me, older siblings. Here in So Cal, I've seen mint examples go for as little as $650 on CL. Just depends on where and when it's for sale. A repaired guitar, even if it appears to have been expertly repaired, is still a repaired guitar and should be priced accordingly. Also check for the proper tuners for that particular year, as well as the common sense neck, brace and bridge potential issues.
An original case is always a plus as I'm always a bit suspect when the Seller's asking top dollar for a guitar in a gig bag or worse, no case. Again, the bottom line is how does it sound; everything else is meaningless as no one needs a $1k Wallhanger. Good luck...
