Yes, that.
Yeah that’s a before shot . It’s hard to believe a “tech” that was recommended by long and McQuades would let the amp even leave like that!

doug is going to do my fender in a few weeks when I find a drive to get the Mesa back . I’m just a few bucks short of my bill . Whoops 😬 .

living on a budget I really over spent last month and I was supposed to start work two weeks ago but that got postponed to Tuesday. Now I have an idea on what it will cost to that job done so I can be sure to put the cash where I can’t get it

Money doesn't matter.

Prayer works for me, just pray for more ;]

The only part that matters is that you got your baby fixed, and just in time.

Rbleep tubes are suddenly drying up for a while, which is going to put some pressure on old USA tubes, just like used cars.

Russian.

It is a cute attempt to deal with the likelihood that eventually the Moderators will decide even mentioning the country is political. We're not there and might not get there but sometimes proactive self-moderation is a good thing and not just a troll baiting the Moderators

In regards to the goop, while that's a horrible example, it's fairly common to use silicon to prevent vibration problems. I've used it to isolate filter caps from each other under the ashtray, for example.

Sorry for the late response but it’s back home and I’m very satisfied with it . There some very subtle differences that make it so worth it .

It’s a lot smoother sounding now and clearer but not clean like my twin but that’s the nature of the beast.

The eq now is wired up to work on both lead and rhythm channel and is less noisy than when it left so is the reverb. The biggest difference is now there’s only one master and two dedicated volumes one for the lead and rhythm and the gain stage is crazy it screams even at gain at level 1 with boost . It’s insane the Mesa couldn’t even do that when cranked!.

I can actually run the rhythm channel at 9/10 and master at one and you can’t hear it running in the background except for when you run the eq .

I was on the phone and my friend said “ turn your Mesa on” and I told him “ it is on” he was shocked!

The fender was also previously serviced so it didn’t need nearly as much work as I thought and we quickly got the tremolo fixed and the footswitch.

Then we took both amps home
