Hi Steffan: I think you're right ... could be a lot of guitar for the money. I guess there's some perverse comfort in knowing that flaky eBay sellers don't just hose Guild buyers ... Martoonis too: "Needs repairs to the neck and top. Paid nearly twice this amount. My loss your gain. Bought off e-bay, need I say more". I can relate. :evil: :wink:

If it isn't Brazilian, you can get one in very good shape for that money.
Martin 12 strings don't command very high prices.
If it's Brazilian, it could be worth the risk.
I have even seen where some people replace the necks and convert then to 6 strings.
