55 DE500

anyone else see that blonde 55 or so "DE500" on gbase? it was going for 5200 or so and was listed online for about 5 seconds! couldn't believe it and when i went back...gone!!

Hello mogwai,

I think I know who got it but I'm not sure I'm at liberty to tell. I guess he will show up when he wants you to know.

Obviously it was labeled wrong. It was a '56 Guild X-550. I have no idea why they called it a DE-500.
Interesting guitar though with some typical 'transition' features.

knew it wasn't right. i think i have seen that one floating around a couple of years ago. also, dino used to have one just like it about 6 years ago or so. only he wanted about 2400 for it!!
