The band is putting out 5 full concert videos for free on YouTube (one per week, per decade) Last week was a real classic, 77 @ the Summit in Houson. Absolute Peak Aerosmith IMO!! Today....Capital Centre 89...a show I attended. Watching it now. A MUCH better show then I faintly remember. Good stuff! Just type in Aerosmith on YouTube, and you'll easily find it.

A snippet of last week's.

I was weened on this stuff by my oldest brother. 7 yrs my elder, he got to see all my favs in their prime. I got stuck w/ the 80's fallout. :(

Thanks for the tip! I love them so much. Aerosmith Bootleg was the second record I ever bought. They were solidly part of the soundtrack of my youth. So rocking!

Saw the twice at the Garden. Boston. Best place to see them as it’s hometown crowd. Skid Row warmed up for one. They were pretty bad. But the Smith rocked!

At one show, Brad Whitford took the mini solo in Dream On. Totally in the wrong key vs the key the band was playing. Lol. They all look at him, he like ah crap. But kept on going.

I got to see them late 70’s at Westboro Speedway in MA if anyone remembers that place. Same Old Song and Dance, Train Kept a Rollin, and Seasons of Whither (sp?) are some standout songs for me. Then again I saw them with my wife about 20 years ago. Quintessential rockers.

I saw them in Vegas about three years ago. Those dudes are OLD. Still rocked, though. They had the old Aerosmith van that someone (then) recently found on display in the lobby.

Honkin’ on Bobo which goes back to their blues roots is a fantastic album. If you’ve never heard it…

American Pickers found and restored the van, and got it back into Aerosmith’s hands. Cool story…

Not a huge Aerosmith fan, but saw them at their peak two nights straight in the late ‘70’s.
they rocked the house. fantastic live shows, as good as just about any classic band I’ve seen, and I’ve seen a bunch.

Ah, the Westboro Speedway! Pretty close to me. Typically, "progress" was made and it is now a shopping center...
