I have a 1998 Guild D55E NT. Does anyone know what pickup system the guitar has (came with)? I believe it's an under-saddle Piezo but I would love more specifics. I've been told it's a Martin Fishman 332 but not sure about the accuracy of opinion. Any help would be appreciated - thanks

It should be a Fishman Matrix Natural I.

OK, Thanks a lot Chris, I appreciate it! I'm a long time Guild player/owner (since 1963) but cannot recall having one with a passive, under-bridge pickup and when I got this 24 year old guitar, the original owner wasn't too sure either. I didn't really get it for it's ability to be played through amplification but wanted to know for records kept on it. Here's my other Guilds I currently have. Thanks again! Don

Awesome!

If it's passive, let correct myself. The Matrix series includes a 9 volt powered pre-amp. (I think) the Fishman AG Series is the passive version (similar to or the same as the Martin Thinline).
