Hahaha. I can assure you that Slash in particular has always played Guilds for acoustic work. Slash even has a double neck Guild that he plays to this day. And the whole group can be seen playing Guild's in the "Patience" video clip too. GN'R luva da Guild

Izzy? DV-6; Slahs? F-30! That was easy-/why didn’t you just say so, form the start.. j/k! I believe the electronics would’ve been an under saddle Fishman originally- if memory serves, which it doesn’t always. . the volume and tone knobs on mine were mounted on the side up near the upper bout mid way between the neck and the curve (bass side). But I believe the one that’s in there is a substantial upgrade. Though that’s based on the feedback of others...

Hahaha. Yep. The seller said it's a $500 AUD upgrade. Sounds legit on the limited research I've done.

Absolutely! It’s the reason I quit playing for 30 years (yes, I regret that now). All the band BS made me miserable. Now that I’m a budding curmudgeon I don’t care what anyone else thinks, and music is fun again. Play on metal head brother!
