Hey LTG-ers! Looking for local NYC area cash sale in person. 1995 DV-52 HG $950.

Check out the details on craigslist for all the photos. Can meet 1hr from NYC. Hit me here or via craigslist. Ask any questions of course. Would love to have an LTG member buy them.

SOLD 1995 (Westerly, RI) Guild DV-52. Fancier dreadnought with scalloped bracing. Solid spruce top, solid rosewood back and sides. Ebony fretboard. Loud, authoritative, complex tone. Superb bang for your buck strummer and flatpicker. Stands up nicely vs. D-55, D-50 higher end Guild dreads. Purchased from Mandolin Bros in Staten Island (RIP) 10 years ago. One noticeable ding on the top (finish only, see pic of lower bout), some pickguard scratches, normal signs of wear but overall the condition is very good to excellent. No bridge lifting. Neck angle is healthy. Some room in the saddle. Excellent axe. Original hard shell case in very good condition included. Action also at about 3/32 inch at the 12th fret.

SOLD 1973 (Westerly, RI) Guild D-25. All solid mahogany (top, back, sides), flat back. Possibly Brazilian rosewood fretboard/bridge (not sure). Warm tone, great player, smells great lol. Includes hard shell case (non original) in 100% functional condition (some wear and tear but latches are 100%). Typical dings, finish hazing and chipping, signs of use but no cracks or damage. Bridge is securely and completely glued flat to the top. Saddle is about as low as it can go but the neck has been stable for 10 years. Action about 3/32 inch at 12th fret.

It’s a shame I reside in west Texas. I’d be all over that D-25.

If I had the means and was within proximity I’d be all over the DV52. That’s a solid price. I see those typically in the $1100-$1250 range depending on condish.

That's a great deal on the DV52. If I hadn't struck out with the first four, I'd be on it!

I'm tempted just to add to my DV review pile. I just made a fairly sizable purchase (to be revealed soon) that's got me in a "that's enough guitars for now" mood.

I have one that's I had to get refretted because the previous owner played it to death. All broken in.
Heavy but oh the sound!!!! Heavenly.

Thanks for all the comments, this is indeed an excellent guitar that needs a new home.

Nut is around 1-11/16" btw

Will consider shipping to LTG members so if that was holding you back go ahead and PM me.
