Somebody has one of those upscale S100 prototypes that has the G shield inlay on the headstock and the corresponding upscale fretboard inlays and bound headstock which I think is the smaller Guild style. Has anyone else seen this?

I'm not talking about that overseas made thing that was floating around. This was a genuine Westerly S100 Premier or something of that nature. I saw the pictures of at least one. I imagine Hans would know.

Grot has one. I want to say it was an S200, though that would conflict with the old Thunderbird so I may have that confused. As I recall it has hex pole pieces in the HB1s, an ebony board, and very nice inlays.

It's been a while and I only held it for a few minutes in the parking lot of a diner, but I know it's real unless it's time to up my meds.

Howdy

Over here half of the pics are not showing - the rest show a beautiful guitar.

Congrats and welcome to LTG

Thank you Gary and thank you Nuuska.

Maybe Grot will post some pics sometime. If I had thought of it back then I would of had Guild build me some sort of a custom S100. Maybe with turquoise inlays like the DV72, 73, 74 etc... In see thru sky blue or green on Black Korina/Limba or American black cherry wood. Something unique.

I find the neck on #000002 a bit too narrow for my style. I'm going to list it for sale and find one of the later 90's S100 reissues with the wider neck. Any offers? It's almost like new.

Wanna swap? I've got a 2000 white S-100 with the wider neck that just sits and gets no love.

If you’re still looking to move that S-100 I might be interested. Tried to DM you but it didn’t let me. Thanks.

I was looking at my patient first records and noticed I was there for a fractured foot the same day my S100 was signed by JT...12/3/93.
