Well something followed me home yesterday and that dumb String Swing rack system I set up is a painful reminder of the fact that I need to curb my guitar consumption.

I bought this from Richard back in July and it is just lovely. The only reason I'm letting this go is I really wanted one in burst, (Richard even told me to hold off), but buying from him is a no brainer so I jumped.

No issues whatsoever, comes with OHSC. Plays great, low action had always been in humidified case until past few weeks, now hanging proudly on String Swing at 43% humidity. If this beauty was a burst it would never leave my possession. It's one of the cleanest used guitars I've ever purchased!

Richard can chime in if he'd like as I'd rather not say what I paid w/out his permission but I'll sell it for $850 plus shipping. That's a pretty good deal for a wonderful small bodied guitar

I'll do pix when I get home tonight, but that is her behind the F-4.

It is a nice F 20 for sure. I've just never been able to bond for long with a small bodied guitar and that's on me, not any of the smaller bodied guitars I've ever owned.

I will also say he's selling for exactly the same price as what he paid. And, that's a fine deal on a nice guitar in wonderful condition.

I played Toni's maple f20. It was a nice sounding and solid feeling guitar. That's when I knew I needed an F20, hers was not for sale, and for a good reason.

Yes, and it is a pleasure to play. I have played a lot of other F20s and similar sized guitars, but the GSR F20 stands alone in it's appointments and finish.

nice!! does yours have a pick guard? If you want a Guild pick guard like the one on the F-20 that's for sale in this thread, let me know. I have one extra.

Mine has no PG. I thought about adding one, but have been reluctant. There is a GSR F20 on reverb now that looks like an over-sized PG. That just looks wrong.

I have a clone pick guard of my own F-20 which is identical to the one in this thread. it was cut out by my luthier, from pg material that came from the Westerly Guild factory, based on a tracing from my guitar. no pressure, just offering

I do appreciate your offer. I think I'm going to leave it as is for now. What year is your F20.

mine is 1970 but was re-topped by Guild at Westerly in 1980 (so the pickguard is a 1980 clone)

Yeah, I remember your story (I think). You can refresh my memory if you like. What style PG did you go with on your F20? Do you know the weight of your F20? They were still light in 1970. I remember Toni's maple F20 had some heft to it but didn't effect the sound at all.
