As discussed here:

Reverb listing here:

I'm chasing a Nightbird with HB1's so this baby has to go. It's super nice, no issues to report. The neck is straight, plays well up and down the fretboard and the HB1's don't disappoint. If you are in the market, consider this one.

$1,850 + shipping fees.

Looks like good shape, and indeed a reasonable price.

That is a great deal on an outstanding guitar. I use mine for all kinds of music; it’s not a one trick pony by any means.

Sandy, I've never owned an X-500. I've had a GSR NH X-180 (my first hollow body -- I didn't know what to do with it o_O), that Benedetto X-700 (it gave too much competition to the Benedetto AA, until I sold them both) and a 1957 X-375 (too many buttons). I'm looking forward to furthering my jazz skills now being acquired from Romain Vuillemin via Zoom lessons -- he's in Paris) on this X-500, also played for most of his career by Henry M. Johnson whose playing I like a lot. He lives and plays (mostly) in the Virginia Beach area of VA.
