Hi all, now that I have my 1971 Bluesbird, it is time to let my exclusive no. 39/82 original Nightingale go, because I really love the semi-hollow sound more.
I‘m the second owner and it is in very good condition with one small chip on the back of the headplate and some very small surface scratches and very little buckle wear which proves that It plays and sounds great with some 80‘s HB-1‘s that got a waxpot and coilsplit by Hans Moust (neck pu with tone push-pull pot, bridge pu with the small switch). It also comes with the original smellfree HSC and the original complete emg (60 & 81) electronics. We can talk if your offer in € has 4 digits and begins with a 3. But be aware that this beauty is located in germany
weight: 3.4kg

edit: added better pictures.

Beautiful! Is that a full hollow body as opposed to semi?

That stop tail and bridge are not hollow body parts. :)

BTW - this Nightingale has different fretboard inlays than the blue that GAD has - are there many variations of Nightingale and X3000 ?

The x3000 has matching inlays to the x2000. I think they just changed it up that year is all.

the X-3000 is not exactly like the original 82 nightingales ('87-'88).
If I remember correctly the original nightingale was only available with a solid spruce top, like the first nightbirds. the later x-3000 got also maple tops and the triangle block inlays
