Thought I'd post this here on the off chance these are something special or someone maybe has a dire need. $125 each  ... fella selling them seems to think highly of em.

Hey, I don't think 125 is all that exaggerated if they work. Plenty of brand new pickups costing a LOT more that I'd pay for not to have in my guitar!
You getting them for the Starfire Don?

Sorry guys, I snagged 'em. Picked them up this morning, and got'em a little cheaper. Hence my question in the Tech Shop forum about output. Turns out they're pulling 6.51K and 6.55 K.

Really nice guy. He was the one selling the '66 Starfire on eBay with Gibson P90s about a month ago, right in the middle of the holidays. There were also a slew of SFs at that time. No one bid on it with a BIN of $1100. He sold it overseas for $1400 instead.

Walter's right. The last pair on eBay went for $300+

I remember that Starfire well. Even though it isn't kosher I would've loved to buy it.
