$1,300 shipped. Payment by Postal money order or personal check. PayPal is fine but if paid that way, add 3% to cover the fee.

Beautiful old Guild and got to be an early Guild electric collector who has been waiting on one of these.
Good luck with the sale.

Very nice! She has character! (but she has an upside down truss rod cover...)

Yes, I realize it is a great guitar at a good price .
My only hesitation is, I wonder if it would need a neck reset soon.
That bridge looks low.
but, it sure is the perfect guitar!

hey Shakelee, I have bought a few from Richard also. He definitely would not be selling a guitar that needs a neck reset, without stating such. if the guitar is playable right now, it should be fine for a long time. I use Ernie Ball Power Slinky 11's on my hollows and semi hollows. I think it would be fine with those. Even if the bridge is down, if it plays good and all is stable, I would not be so worried. that is a somewhat odd bridge also, so I would not necessarily judge neck angle or the need for a major overhaul, just from looking at the bridge in a photo. Richard is great and easy to deal with, so is certainly worth asking him more about it. I have never seen this particular Guild configuration before. I have been spontaneously gassed by one or 2 of Richard's FS photos in the past, so can relate to your sudden instinct to connect with the guitar. good luck, whatever you decide!

Thanks to all of you for the kind words. I know I'm an honest seller and I try to disclose everything (bad or good) that I know about a guitar. I make a mistake here and there but typically have few issues. I do have to say though I am not very smart on electric gear, own very little of it and haven't for some time so it's tougher for me to be as confident selling it.

I can say my Luthier played it and loved the guitar. he basically called me an idiot for selling it but if I'm not playing it then I feel it can be sold. This one looks to be as low as it can go if I understand it right. So, I'm not saying it won't/couldn't use a neck reset He told me it played really well for whatever that may be worth.

I’ve bought one from Richard and it came as described and is a beautiful guitar - honest seller - great gear - now I just have to hold off a while otherwise I might have to answer to the better half before long 🙃

ps it was my first private, buy unseen used guitar - and I couldn’t be happier!

I’m not in the market but what a cool old Guild. Can’t imagine the price if the headstock said Gibson.
