Another special Guild acoustic, very early serial number would correspond to the 13th F112 to roll off the assembly line and this is a Hoboken built guitar, one of the few last ones from this era, must be as Avnet bought Guild and moved to Westerly in 1966.
This guitar is mesmeric, has the capability to induce a mild trance state, head bobbing, etc.
Is this a pineal gland thing?
I rocked a festival with this some summers back, no way to switch back to 6 string after playing this.
Has a stupidly low saddle, needs a new - taller saddle - and a new nut. I have the nut, not the saddle, it's a through saddle.
It plays but frets out in one spot in the middle of the neck, otherwise sounds angelic and needs a proper home.
No top cracks, ever.
Major mojo, lol, nice playwear and attitude, snakeskin case is icing on the cake.
Never shopped around or offered on Reverb, needs good home, price fair market value for condition but it is not your everyday F112.
Trade for electric, anything from Jazz box to 80's hair band dive bomber.
Or cash. Price is $1600
Not many pics of this one, never took decent for sale pics with it because I'd never part with it.
Nothing says Xmas like a Guild ;]
