Any guitar can be a “ metal” guitar. Basically like GAD says you’ve just gotta have chops. A telecaster is not known as a metal guitar, but just play metal type music on it and voila, it’ll chug 😉

I happen to like KISS and am not ashamed to say so. KISS is a very underated band, and I'm guesing most people that dislike them see the makeup and think gimmick, can't have talent. You don't last 50 years in the business if you're not talented, just saying.

That’s always used to refer to a Stratocaster shaped body, hence the S. That’s why an S100 is not an “s” type.
