None.
I bought a used Guild GAD jf-30 a few years ago because I wanted a maple jumbo guitar, and its price was reasonable.
It is a very nice instrument, and I'm very happy with it.
However, my Rosewood and Mahogany needs are incredibly well served by Martin and Gibson dreadnoughts, so there is...
Guildedagain,
I didn't Google for an answer, but after the end of the Second World War, they were practically giving away crated Propeller-driven fighters, so it is likely that more than a few Merlins were dropped into automobiles.

Played my Martin D-28 in the morning and my Gibson j-45 in the evening while I practiced the jazzier chart of "Till there was you" that my music teacher gave me to work on.
Why those two guitars? Just because.
And it's anyone's guess which acoustic I'll grab tomorrow.

The 12 strings will exert a lot of tension on the break site, and despite the rather large surface area to be glued, I suspect that to be completely stable, this will require more than just that.

I learned of the "boiling to re-new old strings" trick when I was a teen in the 60's, and tried it at least once.
As I remember, the result didn't impress me enough to become a habit.
I can't recall if the boiling was done in water or included vinegar to pickle the strings and improve their...
When I saw the title of this thread, I assumed that they were starting to build guitars in their underwear outside in the cold weather, which would be a new and very bracing technique.

plaidseason,
It was a technique I employed years ago while working in a business in which I was required to site check building faces and determine the size of objects too high for me to reach with a tape measure. I'd measure the size of something close to the ground, include it in the photo...
plaidseason,
If you have access to a photocopier that you can adjust to size incrementally, doing a bit of math to calculate the percentage increase required, will allow you can make a template from the photograph quite easily.
Of course, the shortest of shortcuts (but not the least expensive)...
Uke,
I play hockey and am a goalie.
When the team I am playing for wins, I always say "We won", and when the team loses, I always say "I lost". It all depends on your point of view.

Guildedagain,
Yeah.
When the movie was on television recently, and that scene came on, our smart phones and smart oven went on the fritz for a couple of hours, so I guess it bothered them a lot.
Me? Being the Luddite I am, not so much.

Guildedagain,
When you first described the art pens, I imagined you painting up the guitar in multi-colours in the style of '60's hippies vans, so I was very impressed when I saw the excellent and tasteful job you did.
And not a hint of wood-grain adhesive shelf paper anywhere.
Smartly done.
