    Westerly/Hoboken Guild archtop pickguard sizes.

I've started to take the important measurements of pickguards I get in stock since they vary so much. Please add to this post with pkgds you have with the year/model. Let's start a database.

'76 G37 still has factory buffing compound on the back. b

Barely played G37 in the shop for a set up. Super clean. I started rubbing off the compound thinking it was paint and stopped when I realized it was factory compound left after all these years. Kinda cool.

    90’s Bluesbird and a Gotoh 510 bridge?

Speak of the devil. I just got this '90's one in my shop and saw this. Not sure if this repair was done in factory or not but intonation point is still too far forward.

    90’s Bluesbird and a Gotoh 510 bridge?

I remember those. Someone drilled the stud holes in the wrong place and a stock bridge wouldn't intonate so that was the solution. Ah, the old factory memories!

    "Made in Germany" harp tailpiece.

I'm assuming they are all cast as they are all nonmagnetic, (except for the non-hinged tailpieces). The German ones are a lot heavier. Could they be plated brass?

    "Made in Germany" harp tailpiece.

When did Guild switch from the German made cast tailpieces which seem more substantial to the cheaper cast ones?

Found this in a box of parts recently. At first I thought it was ruined but after cleaning up it turned out to be NOS!

    Neck reset difficulties?

"Ditto" to all of the above. I've seen, or done, hundreds of them and they can be a nightmare. But sometimes they just pop off! So I always warn customers that pricing can vary accordingly.

I do apologize but I run a repair shop full time and sell these parts on the side. Hard to keep up on all the questions and orders.
