I like the single pickup Polara. Would be cool if it came in other colours, or just not so "black"! A P90 would be good as well, you could change it to a single mini humbucker! I also like the single volume/tone models.
I am almost in the position of a brand new KSG S100 Polara, found online! I am thinking of putting the Guild humbuckers / take out the dual coils, and a phase switch on it , ala Kim Thayil. Worth the mod?
Would this be Korean? That's the pic, but there's a wait for stock, so guessing what arrives is the Indonesian model?

I prefer the look of the reissue S100 Polara but the phase switch is interesting. I wonder if it would be hard to retrofit to the existing Newark St Polara. I guess the pickups may have to be changed too for the real Kim experience.
Hi all. I am done with heavy guitars first of all! I have a standard Epiphone Casino (made in China I guess). I like the weight, or lack of weight, I like the scale length. Pickups are microphonic I think. Every little rattle and hum comes out through them.
I am thinking of a Guild Starfire III...
I am waiting for a store in Ireland to get restocked on the Polara. I assume it's going to be the new one with the push pull, which I don't want! I just want normal sh*t, volume up, volume down. :)
