    OM Sized Guild USA Rosewood?

Thanks for the awesome info, very helpful. Perhaps this next question should go on to a new thread, if so I could start one. I have been an electric player but want to get a nice acoustic that does well with strumming and fingerstyle. While trying guitars locally (no guilds around here...

    OM Sized Guild USA Rosewood?

Hi I am looking at Guild Acoustics. I have a little trouble deciphering models. Does Guild have or had USA built Orchestra sized models with Rosewood back and sides? It seems the F-30's are mahogany. Any info on models etc. would be great.

Hi Ron glad you added more input and back history. It really is a wonderful sounding guitar. After turning the knobs a little bit I realized it was operator error (mine) for thinking a pot was non functional. I don't know how Ron managed the coil splitting but after using it for a while I...

Pickups in a 1999 Starfire II

Thanks for the input gentlemen. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. It is a beautiful guitar. It would be a little bit of a drive to take a look at it. I am on the fence about pulling the trigger on it, in that he is asking more than I want to spend right now. I will ask him a couple of...

Pickups in a 1999 Starfire II

Looking for opinions on what pickups came in 1999 Starfire II. There is a Guild for sale fairly close by, listed as a 1999. I have not yet asked for a picture of the label inside the F-Hole. I know that this is pretty close to the time that Guild used pickups by Seymour Duncan that were placed...

My strap does not appear to have been used for decades. It could be an old strap that was used only occasionally. It certainly could have been purchased more recently. I think it is kind of fun that it came with the guitar.

pics of case and leather strap that is large enough to use as a harness for your horse and buggy. Totally cool Guild tooling on the strap. Do you think the case is original or aftermarket. No Guild markings only a made in Canada tag. Thoughts? Pay no attention to the feet in the 2nd pic:)

Yeah a player for sure. I am happy. I am just trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Definitely bought it to play. Also my daughter said it is her favorite guitar of mine. Hopefully she will be interested in playing it. The nice things about player guitars is there is no worries about...

First time Guild Owner Starfire IV

So when I stated earlier that this guitar wasn't abused perhaps I should clarify after closer inspection. It hasn't been abused in that it was not a part of an early Who concert. However it has certainly had some pretty big alterations. 1st the original color was black. Here are a couple of...

First time Guild Owner Starfire IV

Hi new to forum and new to Guild guitars. I have long been interested in Guild guitars but for some reason have never owned one. I saw this Starfire IV on a local ad for what I feel is a good price. The price was deeply discounted due to the alteration of a previous owner. As you can see the...
