    FS 1972 Guild D-35 w/ K&K - $1,000 shipped

Up for sale is a really great Guild D-35, built in Westerly, RI in 1972. It's in excellent shape for its age and has the very balanced tone that Guild's are known for. 50+ years of breaking in have only added to the "woodiness" of the sound as well. This particular D-35 is set up very nicely...

    X-175 (P90s) vs M-75

Yeah looking at the Aristocrat, not the chambered ones. Thanks for the info! Yeah the X-175 is definitely big..I also have an ES-125 so am kinda already covered in terms of having a big hollow body like that, though obviously the Gibson doesn't have a bridge PU.

    New Guild T-100D

You might just need some time to adjust to the neck profile. I've had new guitars that have caused my hands to cramp up as well, but after a couple weeks of regular playing they adjust. Also just might need to adjust how you position your hand a little bit. My hands also tend to cramp up when...

    X-175 (P90s) vs M-75

Hi all, hope everyone's new year is off to a nice start. I've been looking at the X-175 reissue with P90s for a while and have been close to pulling the trigger on one. But every time I get close, I start to look at the M-75's and second guess myself. I would be looking to play mostly folk rock...

    Sold 1965 T-100 Slim Jim

Really great 1965 Guild T-100 Slim Jim up for sale. Guitar has all original components except for the tuners which were replaced at some point, they appear to have been on the guitar for a good amount of time based on the wear. I purchased it from the original owner several years back. Really...

    PSA: Hum-ditty time!

I live in coastal SoCal where guitars hang on the wall year round with no issues. But likely will be moving to Denver in the next year or so...going to be a big adjustment in terms of monitoring humidity.

    Mediums on a D55?

I think any dread sized guitar should be able to handle mediums. I don't think you'd have any issues on a D55.

    I bought a Guild M-120E : Tuners question...

Found them on Reverb, there were a few different kinds with the white buttons (open back, Kluson style, 3 on a side, etc).

    I bought a Guild M-120E : Tuners question...

I upgraded my M240 to some Gotoh tuners with white buttons. I like that look better than the chrome butterbean tuners, but I don't notice a huge difference in tuning stability. Mostly a cosmetic improvement.

    Recording Equipment Question

I bought a Spire Studio a year or so ago, best and easiest to use piece of recording equipment I've purchased in a while. Has a built in condenser mic, you can mix through their app if you want, etc. Can't recommend it enough if you want something high quality that's also very easy to use.

    Changing 1 3/4 nut to 1 11/16?

I had a repairperson do this on a guitar for me once, the end result wasn't really what I was hoping for. I had him switch it back, and eventually just adapted to the 1 3/4" nut width.
