    Just an update and a question. Many thanks for your informative replies and my guitar has been lovingly cleaned and restrung. I am now on the lookout for a practice amp, what are your preferences for manufacturer for my Guild T-100. Marshall, Fender, Vox etc? as most are solidstate?

    It wouldn't happen to be AD042693 by any chance as that would be:- D25 s' for 1995 AD042117 to AD044518 or the code for the 12 string begins with 420 not 402 D25-12s' for 1995 AD420369 to AD420802 I am sure the much more knowledgeable guys will put you right as they helped me no...

    Using GAD's hard labour with his guitar catalogues, I can confirm that it has the same dimensions as a T100 with only a 2 inch body depth. However it has the other type of tailpiece.

    I checked for a label again but to no avail. I suspect you guys are correct that this came from the factory as a T100 and was manhandled in its first 10 years of its life before I got hold of her. Many thanks for you guys coming to help

    I will another look but couldn't find one I last looked. It could have floated off over time if there was one. The paint job and fitment of pickups and controls seems too perfect to be anything than a factory fit, but you never know.

    I am hoping that still have Hans Moust's book. I don't know if it could help with the model type for my Guild which has serial number 12616 (1960). I have looked at almost every Guild picture on the web, and the format of mine does not match anything I can see, two metal pickups with three pots...
