I go through 12-string guitars in the same way I do classical / nylon strings. Love having them, looking at them-especially this one (!) but not excelling or playing either enough to hold on to. A 12-string guitar should not be sitting it out as much as this 512 is. Outstanding condition. Best...

Does anyone have a comment on the difference with these two back woods? I'm wondering how much that rich low end response on my F-512 or the D-55 Rosewood, just sold, would compare to a laminate maple back on either of the above titled. Somehow anything laminate on a higher end guitar...

Does this look like a DIY job? It's a rosewood tint lacquer, off in three small areas, treble side only, on a New Hartford D-55. I don't see any product online yet, but maybe a Colortone lacquer pen??? Thank you, Tom
