And if so is there a way to tell from the serial number or on the label in the guitar?

    1975 Guild D25 cedar top

    D44s galore!

I don't know about you guys, but I don't see a lot of used or new Guilds for sale (I'm in Seattle), but now I'm seeing a 1974 Guild D44M for 2100 and a 1967 Guild D44 for 1499. They're at different places a little far apart so hard to compare both but ..........

    Question about the new Guilds

I have a 93 JF 30 that I enjoy a great deal, however my daughter's boyfriend is borrowing it for a time and because I like him if he likes it I may just sell it to him. That means I'd have to replace it, but I'm wondering how the new Guild Maple Jumbos compare. I wouldn't be in a position to...

Work at home realization about my JF 30

My 1993 JF 30 is a great guitar. Probably it's at its best fingerpicking or strumming, and so easy to play, I don't know what it is. I just love this guitar.

What can people tell me about the specs etc of a 1978 D50 "bluegrass special"

What can people tell me about the specs etc of a 1978 D50 "bluegrass special" It's for sale locally for $1399 and I wanted to know more before I went down to try it out. I think I read somewhere that they have an Adirondack top but not sure

JF 30 is there anything it doesn't sound good doing?

I'm serious, I've had it for a bit now and it's great strumming - it has a really nice balanced tone, great fingerpicking - all the notes are clearly defined, I've only done a little flatpicking but I can't imagine it sounds bad doing that, it stays on tune with a capo. What a great guitar.

    Ngd guild jf 30 1991

I pulled the trigger. It is in wonderful shape and I kept coming back to it. It's solid, and very balanced, not a lot of bass but I have a D28 for that. Very easy to play up and down the neck.

Question for a potential/likely new Guild Owner

Greetings, I don't know much about Guilds but I've run across a used JF 30, that Guild said was made in 1991 at the Westerly Factory. It's gorgeous, no dents or damage and sounds fantastic. I just wondered if anyone could tell me more about the guitar and what these Westerlys were like. I...
