    Direct Tuner replacement 61' T50?

Thanks for the info and help guys! I also noticed, as sailingshoes mentioned, my 66' looks to have the 3-on plate economy set on it. They are actually very nice and easy to use. I have been looking at these for solid pegheads at stews for the 61'...

    Direct Tuner replacement 61' T50?

Hi all, I scored a wonderful 61' T50 over the weekend and the tuners are a bit tough to turn due to age I'm sure. I have a 66' T50 as well and love the replacement tuners on it but can't figure out what they are and if they are a direct swap with the 61's? Any advice info is appreciated. In...

    2008 Martin HD 28

He's been a good friend over the years, met in high school, joined "my" band, hah! I didn't know the V version was any different than the regular HD but interesting to know. I knew the neck was V shaped though. I believe it was the one he played on Leno when his first album came out.

    NGD 66' Guild T50!

Thanks! I actually strung it up with the reg EXL115's will look into the W sets! So, what are the negatives on not using a wound G on these bridges, is it just intonation issues? This is my first archtop with a floating wooden bridge like this.

    NGD 66' Guild T50!

My search for a vintage T50 is over! I've found a gorgeous 66' Hoboken-made one from a nice older fellow on Craigs. It has some cool honest wear and plays like a dream, lots of mojo! Structurally really good and original except for the tuners as far as I see. I absolutely LOVE this slim neck...

I wanted to ask for any advice, I'm searching for a 60s T50, as I feel it would be a great first foray into vintage and archtops. I feel the 60s Guilds really nail the affordability and value aspect vs some of...
