A friend has a pending sale (Reverb) on her 1951 Gibson J-185. It will need the bridge replaced with a repro bridge. It seems the pending buyer's luthier has concerns that the current bridge may glued on with some sort of Epoxy glue. Is this a serious problem in terms of getting an old bridge off?

This one is new to me; but after a couple of challenging days, it hit the spot for me.

Driving back and forth to work a few years ago in North Carolina I passed through lots of tobacco fields and barns. Nice to see someone is doing this. Don't know how good the guitars are, but glad someone's giving it a try.

Just noticed that Yamaha evidently now owns Bosendorfer Pianos. Since Bosendorfer is a legendary piano company, it might lead one to assume that Yamaha may know something about dealing with acquisitions with valued histories (e.g., Guild). Maybe wishful thinking on my part.

Does anyone have a link to some company or person who would have a 1995 Yamaha Classical Guitar catalog. There is one on Reverb, but is labled "Unavailable." It would be nice to know of a source who has a stash of old catalogs.

I really like this guy's voice; he has several performances on YouTube. Anybody familar with him?

Given the recent release of the Beatles "final" song ("Now and Then"), and after I've looked at some of the photos of the "drawers" of Guild folks around the globe I had a thought this morning. What if all of you folks with the drawers of Guild pieces and parts could coordinate with each other...

On the Artist Award headstock decoration, what does the pitcher/vase with a star shining on it supposed to symbolize ?
