    WTB Guild tooled leather strap

The only extra one I have right now goes with my gsr x500 which didn't come with one when I got it. I have to make a trip over to storage this week and I'll keep my eyes peeled. May have some over there.

That's a nice looking Guitar Pidge! Congrats! I got lucky enough to find one of the 2 or 3 New Hartford made Adi topped D55's brand new years ago. Love the tone from it. Hope you enjoy yours for a long time.

Hey everyone, I'm alive and kicking! Got your text Mav and appreciate the thoughts from everyone. Been extremely busy taking care of Mom who will have her 18th and final chemo treatment for her breast cancer next week. Shoulder is steadily deteriorating but still find time to play each day. Heavy Gauge 14-59 EJ18's on my 2012 F50 Maple

Hey all, Decided to do a little Mad Scientist experiment on one of my Jumbo Guilds and am Loving the results. I wanted to see what some heavy gauge strings sounded like tuned down a bit so I installed a new set of Daddario EJ18 uncoated Phosphor Bronze 14-59's on my 2012 Guild F50 Maple that was...

    Interesting detail on my Orph

If It is the Orpheum I am thinking of Brad, I was the original owner and purchased the guitar new. That little 12 fret hog is one sweet guitar and was my Favorite for fingerpicking. I just couldn't justify keeping it when I already had an Orpheum Jumbo that I am still madly in love with to this...

Guild D-40 Bluegrass Jubilee Sunburst with Bear Claw Top Excellent Condition 1250

Beautiful Guitar! The Tacoma D40 Bluegrass like the one you have listed is an Adi Top with scalloped Adi Braces. In early Tacoma (2005-2006) they still made the D40 Richie Havens model which had a Sitka top. Best of luck with your listing. TX

What do you think of taped bridges?

Completely Agree with Walter on this. There is a big difference between playing around the house or doing one man Gigs and Playing 4-5 nights a weeks with all the equipment that a full band carries and has to transport. If you are gigging regularly with an Archtop and need it to be dependable in...

    NGD: 2000s Guild Starfire IV

Congrats Chasing! Late Westerly Guild electrics are some of the finest ever made in my opinion. I went the opposite direction from Dbirchett with my late Westerly SFV. I wound up replacing the Fender made pickups with Duncan Custom Shop Phat Staple single coils in a humbucker mount. Absolutely...

    Sound hole pickups

If you are looking for true replication of your guitars tone with minimal alteration to you Guitar then the K&K pure mini is the way to go like mentioned earlier. With the exception of the "Barbera Soloist Guitar Saddle pickup" I honestly believe the K&K Pure Mini is the least intrusive guitar...

    Hell hath no fury.................

Been watching it this morning on the weather channel and it looks like the Bahamas are just Getting destroyed. 5 feet of water at the airport, moving west at 1 mile an hour with the eye centered over Grand Bahama and still maintaining Category 5 strength, Freeport is just getting Hammered. It...
