For Corona-made Bluesbirds, is there a clear demarcation established between 2001-2002 serial numbers? Mine is CM000085 and is early enough in the transition that it has a Fender Custom Shop sticker on the headstock. It's a wonderful guitar and is my go-to rocker.

The D4 ended up selling on Reverb at $525, so I made a bit of a premium, and the buyer is getting an excellent bang-for-the-buck guitar at a still reasonable price. All's well that ends well, and I thank everyone here (and the LTG site in general) for your feedback and comments. Off to change...

Does anyone know if the gold-tone frets were original and how long were spec'd that way? My Mars 170-T has gold hardware and Guildsby but it has nickel frets you typically see on most electrics. If original, did other models come with gold frets? Very striking in any case.
